Computers Determine When To Stop Searches For Missing People At Sea:
"British researchers are developing a new computer model to predict how long someone will survive when lost at sea, which will in turn determine when a search and rescue operation may be stopped."
I dont think COMPUTERS should be determining how long PEOPLE can stay alive. What if theres a special case where a person is trained to do things like that the computer could just leave them for dead thats an unnecessary death.
That's just wrong. How can a computer tell how long someone would survive at sea? It's almost like saying that people are being left to die. Leaving computers to do the work of people is almost obscured.
